Adobe (2016)
Adobe's first few mobile apps were standalone. But as they pushed further into the mobile space, there was a concerted effort to develop true companion apps for the Creative Cloud desktop applications. Early apps were renamed, or replaced, to fit under the new CC mobile umbrella.
I created taglines to help customers understand the different transitions.
The popular color picking app, Kuler, was renamed Adobe Color.
We needed customers to recognize it as the same app.
Color Is Kuler
Adobe Ideas was replaced with a more advanced mobile app called Adobe Illustrator Draw.
We needed customers to understand that support for Ideas was discontinued, and they could move their saved files to a similar, but better, vector drawing app.

In addition to naming products, I also led the writing council to brainstorm game taglines for the marketing department.
Front runners became integral parts of promotional posters, online banners, and video trailers. Runner-ups were often repurposed in other communications such as email marketing and social media messaging.
